Take A Pride In Fife encourages and supports local people and community groups to take action to improve their local environment and community.
So far a Take A Pride In Glenrothes (TAPIG) group exists and a Take A Pride In Levenmouth (TAPIL) group has recently been established. Eventually there will be seven 'Take A Pride' groups across
Each group will improve local environments by helping community groups and residents with environmental projects.
Examples of environmental improvement projects include:
- A litter campaign
- Renewing shrub beds
- Planting spring bulbs
- Hanging baskets
- A dog fouling campaign
- Enhancing entrances to villages or precincts
- General environmental improvements to your community
- Increasing the recycling facilities in your local community
- Improving pathways (for cyclists and walkers)
